The lamb was a bit further toward well done than we were aiming for, but it was tender and flavorful, so I count that as win given how harried we were/are.

It's not that hard to find five-bedroom farmhouses in Iowa, which are definitely not mansions. There are still two of them in my family---one of which was originally a rectory before it was moved a mile.

Neat, I didn't know they had these in Lille! There is a big collection of fortification models like these in one of the attics at L'Invalides in Paris.
