Following an extensive national search, UC Irvine Law appointed Kelly Greer as the Law School’s next Assistant Dean of Admissions starting in January 2026. Greer takes over from Liam Gillen, who has served as the interim assistant dean since the beginning of the academic year.

The University of California, Irvine School of Law has established the A. Lavar Taylor Endowed Tax Law Scholarship for the Graduate Tax Program through a generous $250,000 gift from A. Lavar Taylor and his wife, Lynda B. Taylor.
