I've been reading the entire internet trying to find anything to give me hope and this is one of the only things that has. It's long but the helpful bit for me is not in the (necessary) list of past atrocities but in the interspersed bits about how we are responding differently than before.
I know we don't feel like there's much to celebrate this July 4th. It's been a rough several years.
