The key issue here is that Reynolds isn't and never was the victim in this increasingly tragic saga. Her misguided vengeance, and callous indifference to the damage to the actual victim, Ms Higgins, is despicable. Her malignant, self-destructive ego just won't let it go...she needs help.
⬆️ Laws need to be changed to prevent politicians suing others for defamation.
It's undemocratic that a politician can sue for being criticised.

So ... a dangerous abuser accuses his partner or ex-partner of a violent crime (this is common) & get the cops to charge her, usual delays until it's dropped/heard and now the govt will cut off the accused's entitlements, making her - & her children - wholly dependent on her abuser? Get out of it.
