one thing i really liked about the lowdown is that his ex-wife's New Man never came off well. lee's the viewpoint character, he literally should not ever like this guy. guy should be a grinning smug shithead doing all the right things while his ex-wife, daughter etc tell him the guy's great. perfect

i still dislike actually playing expedition 33 but everything else about it rules. you can tell they know ball by introducing a guy with a hole through his entire face whose presence distorts all the sound mixing with your just-found teen companion saying "he's cool, he's tuned up all my weapons"
