Sixpence is an all-time fav, and “This Beautiful Mess” is as good as it gets for me. sadly though the band does themselves no favors presenting as a cover band much of the time. All their albums are fantastic, but many don’t get acknowledged in their shows

this was so hard for so long. I remember for my 36th birthday my present from my wife was to be able to go to a Pinback show by myself--this was a few months after our 3rd child was born. But now that they are all almost teens I take them with me! But yeah for about 10 years not many shows.

Three ways to get one:
1. Send me $7 to cover materials
2. Trade! Make me a mix (tapes also great!) at some point in the coming months
3. Commit to buying something directly from one of the 17 artists on the mix (record, CD, shirt, etc.)

Whoa so this kinda blew up earlier! As @totalvibration.bsky.social mentioned, pretty hilarious commentary from Many on Ebel/T&N in the middle. And the next video I watched was Morelia’s Forest at Cstone this same year. But yeah the focus is that Rosie sounds spectacular and Velour100 was amazing

So good! I really want to get a copy of that There Will Be Fireworks album on vinyl but hard to find in the US. And I wore an Elliott False Cathedrals shirt to Pugfest on Sunday and it led to half a dozen different conversations about them!
