oh nice! i like that a lot of tablets and touch computers have artist quality pens these days. i was pleasantly surprised by the spen too.

i had a similar setup for pc at one point, but i got my cintiq from a liquidation sale so that changed things 😂 the real catch was these damn pens i guess!

yep, and so many replacement nibs (mostly because i always lose them too, oops)

i wish mine had a magnetic latch, would solve my never ending hell of "find the tablet pen" lmfao. what tablet do you use?

to be fair it probably would have been fine if my cats didn't abduct this pen and break it apart when they were kittens so it was already kind of hanging by a thread already lmfao

yeah, basically i'm heavy handed and the nib just finally pushed too far in. i tried replacing the nib, removing it and letting it chill for a few days, and some other troubleshooting on the software side just in case, but no luck

so it's basically stuck left clicking even when hovering

yeah honestly i considered just posting all the clues and letting people solve it for fun but i felt like... it's a waste of all this work we did not to post it... but it's also a waste to just dump it all and not have the energy to make it a full event.

perhaps another time but with a fresh idea

well in this case i'm lucky cuz it's for one of the old discontinued cintiq models, so finding a wacom pen isn't hard since they're all over ebay

finding one that won't obliterate my wallet, however, is the challenge T_T the price i pay for being a heavy handed artist, i guess

anyway if i'm being honest typing out all of this makes me want to vomit but i'm gonna post it anyway because i'm JUST depressed enough for it to cancel out my usual hesitation about being sincere on the internet...
