That's right, their account was hacked but was apparently deleted this morning

There are more accounts that have been affected by the same thing and they tend to send the same message that "they know someone who is impersonating you" (or some other similar message)

This is how the scam works, they usually contact you through a previously hacked account, the message is the same or may vary

I noticed that your previous account had been hacked since they tried to scam me with it, don't worry I knew it wasn't you 🫂

I decided not to respond since I know where this is going, I also decided to close my DMs to stop receiving messages like this one

I already reported your previous account and this account that tried to contact me, I really hope this situation will be resolved as soon as possible 🫂

I show this as I don't want any of you to be affected as I was a victim of a similar scam on Twitter and I learned from that bad experience (and it was a terrible headache)

El modus operandi es que te hablan porque supuestamente "hicieron una denuncia errónea hacía tu perfil y que tienes que apelarla para que no la cierren". Bloquea esa cuenta y repórtala por spam porfas

I've been having this situation for almost 1 week now and it's getting tiring, plus it's annoying.

I don't want others who are not aware of this to think it's me and want to make a call me out or something because IT'S NOT ME 🥲

That's what they did to me and that's why I had to create another account. They do this to steal your account, then ask you to talk to a supposed Twitter support.

If you received a DM from my previous account it's not me, I lost access to that account by a hack through a supposed Twitter support on Discord over a week

I recommend that you please report the account

I'll make a beware later on the user who caused this so you'll be aware and be careful if you're still on Twitter *sigh* 🫠
