They/Them or He/Him
Odd that he forgot the "into the ground, by capitulating to extortion" before his "Period."

I buy in bulk too, and this thread made me look at my purchase history. Last spent about $17 in May of 2024, and still have a few left. So yes, about a dollar a month.

(Blades wear much slower when I shave in the shower, but that's still a year and a half of face and head shaving)

I think my razor blades come out to less than a dollar per month, so still not exactly a huge tax on men.

If anything, men come out ahead there. I'd imagine women's blades wear faster, just from increased area shaved.

I think it's just another example of incomes not remotely keeping up with inflation over the last few decades. Short fiction is particularly bad, with many publishers not having increased their payment per word since at least the 90s.

Should absolutely be legal to do the xkcd "Parking" comic to anyone parked on a sidewalk or in a bike lane.

I bought a second recycle bin to keep on the porch, right by the mailboxes. Saves a round trip for the paper mail.

Rarely have I appreciated my aphantasia as much as I do today.

He's petty enough that I could see him pushing for expulsion before her pension vests (at five years, which is why she's leaving in January)

Do we (even want to) know enough about his relationship history to be sure of that?

My D&D group in my 20s used to mock our DM for making us roll for lots of stuff that should just be auto-success. In my 40s, I can somehow crit fail brushing my teeth and throw my back out for a week.

Could be worse. New Haven's flag looks like someone mimeographed our seal.

"the housing that King Lamont has been planning"

As is so often the case, I wish that our elected Democrats actually acted the way their opponents claim.

Shockingly, they kept pumping out new books in the series through the end of 2020.

Well, UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers union) is pretty much this. The problem is getting the workers to organize and join it.

They can't really undercut CVS with Aetna, because CVS _is_ Aetna. (CVS Health bought them in 2018.)

And if they're going to be all linguistically deterministic about it, they'd better be eating castles on those buns, not ground beef discs.

I know how to turn it off, but I still make sure to search "how to permanently remove copilot" on Bing periodically, so it specifically shows up in Microsoft's own search stats. (This is of course the only time I use Bing.)
