When I graduated from college, I thought I wanted to be a public interest lawyer but wasn’t sure. I applied to all sorts of jobs. At an interview at DC PDS, my interviewer realized their job wouldn’t work for me (lack of benefits). She proceeded to find my first job @lawyerscomm.bsky.social for me.
The night before I supposed to take the LSAT, I realized I didn’t want to be a lawyer. I skipped the test the next morning, realized I loved reading blogs, so I applied for a job at the ur-blog - Andrew Sullivan’s Daily Dish.

Changed my mind & voted for N.W.A. These are both perfect albums, but Straight Outta Compton changed the game in ways that Doolittle couldn’t (in part because of the impact Surfer Rosa had already had, which is hard to consider as an argument against the Pixies but we’re splitting hairs here).
