Even assuming they are drug traffickers for which there's no evidence - what about focusing on eliminating demand? Is Trump going to go into cities here with addiction and start shooting random people with out of state plates on street corners?

Seems they do that and nothing happens. They should be making strong speeches to the military telling thm not to obey what are illegal orders and calling on the public to rally round the flag with them, shouting the battle cry of freedom around the Pentagon or right outside the White House lawn.
