It was a privilege to be part of a dedicated team today who helped so many Canadians vote, many for the very first time. Thank you to the amazing DROs, RegOs, IOs and fellow supervisors who did so much for so many hours (mostly 15+!)

It’s a risk/reward calculation, with some reputation thrown in (“gang X usually doesn’t leak data online after you pay them”). These kinds of criminal orgs want to be known, somewhat surprisingly, as “trustworthy”: otherwise, nobody would pay them.
