My extreme interest in this work arises out of my own research (with Carl Woese) to try and understand the evolution, as opposed to the assembly, of the ribosome. In particular the evidence for horizontal gene transfer in the evolution of the genetic code

The team is cooking on some things, including a “zen mode” that can serve as a feature gate for a bundle of settings that turn down the volume on outrage and toxicity.
