Finished this @stephengrahamjones.bsky.social book last night.

The tension of imminent death accurately parallels the excruciating tension of the house being a huge mess and The Parents are almost home. Like yeah okay I might get murdered but Mrs Wilbanks is gonna be *pissed* about the couch.

It was cool to read all these horror writers take on The Stand - Wendig's Stand/Wanderers AU, the one with the cult, all good stuff.

The last story, written by a dude, is female POV and uses the word "rape" 10 times in the first 2 pages and now I kinda hate the whole book. Men ruin everything.

I've been inspired to make #Reacher Fanart. The man is so big and he can reach so far, I love this show so much. This season, there's an Even Bigger Man. Recommended.
An excellent cartoon (Sharpie on paper) on the right is Reacher, made of a large upside down triangle and stick arms and legs, reaching his arm. Underneath the arm it says "Reach!". On the left are two normal sized people (smaller than Reacher, who is Big). They're saying "Thanks, Reacher!" This is the main jist of the show, it's excellent.

I can't help but think that kid Big Balls is going to pull an Icetown at the federal level by the end of the year.
