HORSES by Andrea Lucco Borlera & @santaragione.com releases today! Banned from Steam, available basically everywhere else, you can already preorder it on GOG and it costs only 5 euros/dollars. I've played it but I can't say anything yet: just buy it.

I have kicking around the game systems for a story-focused open-world roguelike since I first played Rogue and Begin as a child.

RPS's roguelike feature is not worth a link, but I do want to call attention to this passage where they compare progen content in games to the tools charlatans call "AI".

The looting of aid in Gaza by "humanitarian rights organisations-backed Hamas" was -of course- actually by Israel, because Israel lies, Western media just prints it, and now a year later the rectification is published after the Palestinians are dead already.

The additional context is that Valve is still killing a beloved games studio, still tried to weasel out of making a press statement, still didn't allow a second review, and still did not communicate with the developer beyond vague references to their terms.

I'm fascinated by the storytelling potential of "mundane simulators": games where you presented repetitive tasks in a setting that grows more complicated. These games lend themselves to horror.

Horses looks a little intense for me, but I look forward to learning more about it when it releases.
Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...

A reminder, with the state entirely in Musk's pocket, the only action that will stop the poisoning and death caused by his facility is its destruction and his being stripped of all his wealth.

Any lesser actions are an endorsement.
As much as it’s funny to see use the Twitter chat bots to take the piss out of musk due to him making it worse and worse do remember that the data center behind it is poisoning people and using the site and that stupid bot has real world physical harms.
