it's extremely difficult for me to not get impatient with the way people talk about these things (and its not just furries!) because it's sooooo. you are trying to virtue signal your way out of doing shit! the issue is people who are artists/makers/figures being protected!!! is anyone listening!!!!!

to be frank, inclusion of transness at all "twists" the use of subject as they used it; transgender existence was not actually being considered, and the actual text makes no mention of it because of this.

and this is what it comes down to: while black trans women are in fact at a greater risk and are in many ways pushed even further into the margin than white trans women, the same way that nonblack (not even specifically white) women are not somehow free from the violence of misogyny due to being spared antiblack misogyny, white trans women are not exempt from transmisogyny because they are not facing transmisogynoir. the same way 'black women are protected only to the extent that their experiences coincide with those of either of the two groups', so too are white trans women to white cis womanhood and white manhood. they are not 'centered' due to the lack of the intersection of antiblackness for the same reason saying black cis women are 'centered' is nonsense outside of very specific spaces (one of which, ironically, is black feminist thought).
and all of that to say: the implicit centering of cis white women's experiences doesn't actually have a bearing on the fact that *antiblackness in queer spaces is not specific to trans women*. which was my entire point.
i know my black feminist texts, thank you much; you are using them as a rhetorical bludgeon to justify a simple transmisogynist microaggression, and to do a whole lot of justifying it instead of simply rescinding that Single Specific Thing (not the whole thread! literally four words) and moving on.

i had this happen before; could be tendonitis/tennis elbow. had to do a bunch of exercises daily for at least a month for it to feel even slightly less awful.
