Not much variance in the hour I was out there but all fantastic. This bright flare lasted ~15 minutes—visible to the naked eye and quite mobile across the sky—and was otherwise more diffuse and muted purple/green. Very windy and feels-like 22° had my (phone)camera skills down lol. #northernlights 🌌

Wasn’t sure they’d be visible here, went outside, and bam there she was, gorgeous as anything. Milky Way also giving a good showing. 😍 I’ve since driven out of town but we’re not as bright as the why-not moment I stepped out justincase to check. #northernlights

The pain and bitterness emerging from both conditions would be exploited by Trump, who empowered the nativist political currents galvanized by the War on Terror but, during Cheney's time, did not enjoy respectability. They also enabled Trump.

Happy International Rock Day! I love rocks every day. 🪨
Layered sedimentary rocks found at Big Bend NP. The rocks are variant in pastel colors from green to pink, but appear mostly chalky white under the bright sunshine. A corridor made up of enormous rocks. These are blocky in shape and covered in green moss. In the distance against the sky is a bare tree. Casually knolled beach findings on a railing, including rocks in several shades, beach glass, snail shells, and driftwood. One of my favorite rock places, Jasper Beach in Maine. Up close foreground is a beach made of filled rocks all smaller than a tennis ball in various colors, with water in the middle and then rocky formations and an island in the distance.

We can’t give up on each other or our collective future. I also still have so many national parks to get to, and stamp my park passport, and stare in awe at what we have.
