Welcome to all my new followers, and thank you! I’ve kind of got out of the habit of posting much at the other place for obvious reasons but I’d love to get back to the constructive (positive??) exchanges of yore!

We’re delighted to appoint Dr Daniella Jenkins as our new Executive Director. She joins us from the University of Bristol and brings experience in feminism, economic policy and design.
Dr Daniella Jenkins will start in Spring 2026, and Dr Sara Reis will act as Director until then.

This is very good from @joxley.jmoxley.co.uk. It does raise a question as to whether the UK could actually do with more MBAs and elite business schools. There are skills to management that can be taught.

New guidance published today by NICE talk about the use of AI in identifying osteoporotic fractures. Early diagnosis services for osteoporosis are already using AI effectively.
Rolling these services out universally, as promised by @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social, is a no-brainer.
