I called my Dad today. He told me he was watching Star Wars.
I’m 50 years old. I don’t know that my Dad has ever watched Star Wars in my life.

Maybe I’m biased, but I see in The Doctor, the Ultimate Girl Dad: fun and whimsical always ready to take his girl(s) on adventures, wise, excited (but not too excited) to see his daughters grow, and all the while ready to bring the fury of all his years down on anyone who dares harm his girl.

Lesson from last night: The future of the Democratic Party is what it’s always been: whatever the locals determine it is. If Virginia Dems want moderates, let them elect moderates. If New York Dema want to elect Democratic Socialists, let them do that.

I’m actually happy they’re not maintaining Trek 4, though I appreciate people being disappointed. It sounds like they’re done with prequels.

Enrolling in insurance at my new job. I have to pay A SURCHARGE to out my wife on my insurance because she is eligible for insurance through her own job. Almost $100 because we want to pay for a more expensive plan.

I like that the Burn period is a solid 1000 yrs of untouched playground to mess with, when so much of what we get is over the same 100ish yr period (or a thousand years forward now HOORAY!).
