Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE. #FreePalestine. Trans rights are human rights.
Reminds me of this scene.

I'd love to believe that is true, but the US never allows its officials to be held accountable.

Their dismantling of the (scant) protections built into the immigration system points in a similar direction: they know little and want to know less about the people they hound and brutalize. Take the case in SF of an immigration judge fired mid-hearing by email: www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/j...

Maybe American journalists should reflect on the courage of Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi.

It's a full-time job just managing all of them.

Glad I could help!

First generation Apple Silicon with pretty low specs. I'd almost suggest going for a newer MacBook Air unless there's something about the Pro you need. If you're looking at getting it from Costco, you could get it brand new for $750, and it will be supported a few years longer.

Tomorrow he should try going covered in rat bait.

I don't want to say it's refreshing not to be subjected to the dog and pony show of pretextual claims about WMDs again, because what's going to happen is horrifying. But it's clarifying that they don't feel like they even have to pretend.

There has been a weird alignment of US and UK politics since Brexit though. I think what happened is that Boris Johnson turned the Tories from a center-right party into Republicans, and then Morgan McSweeney did something similar with Labour.

The government gets its pretext for the ban, which if the WellBN study actions are any indication, goes well beyond just blocking new prescriptions, but it makes it much harder to hold them accountable.

It's a real conspiracy against the health care of trans children.

Also, this game has been obvious for a while, but Cass didn't put a recommendation for a ban in her report because that would expose it to scientific scrutiny. By advocating for a ban in private, while not putting that in writing, she gets what she and the transphobes in government want.
Just to clarify: we don’t actually know whether Hilary Cass recommended a ban on puberty blockers. The Cass Review itself doesn’t say that. Instead, the DHSC sought “evidence” from three “experts”, including her, which was kept secret.

I think Wes Streeting revealed quite a lot in his tweet.

Admittedly, the Cass Review took the Tories 4 years to actually do. They invested a lot of time and effort into it, tried to make it look like it wasn't a political hit job, while Kennedy just sent an email, probably. But it was the same sort of conclusion-driven political interference.

Also...physical therapy? There's a huge amount of schooling for that.
