This is the kind of practical action we need as the culture war escalates.
Wild that a small music venue is prepared to do this while massive, wealthy institutions like my employer - a university - are not. But this is where people can put pressure as employees, customers, and service users.

1/🧵 An effective comm strategy for a trans rights campaign group (as opposed to a support group) could be to deliberately create confusion. For example, spread the idea that public toilets both include trans people by default and exclude them by default, simultaneously.

Megathread of pro-trans petitions on Parliament’s petition website. If Labour suddenly gets hit with debates for a bunch of pro-trans petitions, maybe they’ll realise this issue isn’t going away and they’ve fucked up.

With literal Nazi's now governing the US and the UK also using minorities as scapegoats we can do something by putting energy into defending, protecting and supporting POC, LGBTQ+ ppl and women. Trans ppl are in danger rn. We must show up for them.
