I haven't been able to think about MFF until today. There are many people I look forward to hugging and wagging at, and I hope to hell things go smoothly for y'all who are going. Especially if we're mutuals, please consider reaching out to say hello - companionship is welcome.

I have few plans for the con this year, but for those who I do see: understand that I'm in rough shape. Understand that I might spontaneously sob; that I might need to step away or find a quiet, dark place to be in for a while, or to be hugged or held for a bit. It's been such a rough year.

I'm not okay - my life situation needs to change, and it's going to be a rough transition making that happen this year. MFF 2025 marks the one-year anniversary of a breakup that needed to happen before then, also. There are people who were there last year who won't be there this year. I miss them.

I love (hate) that my coyote friends know this bullshit as INTIMATELY as I do. (hi, I'm building out a new MECM environment and have done two site upgrades in the last few weeks and WEE). Also just wrote a quick and dirty PowerShell no-content installer for VSCode that did NOT forget that switch. :P
