Forgot to post when it happened - but last night, I completed another hunt on my bingo card! Managed to finish this Trevenant hunt in just two phases (phased on a Foongus in Nov 2024) and a total of 1270 encounters!

A shiny hunt that makes me WISH I streamed because I also can hardly believe this

Shiny Minior on Mt Hokulani in 24 random encounters - with Ultra Sun and Sun (12 each). Sun has the shiny charm, Ultra doesn’t and yet I got it on Ultra. Worthy Master Ball capture for a dream shiny

The shiny rate for Ultra Sun is 1/4096 while Sun is 1/1365 because it has the shiny charm. The written text underneath the 24 tallies reads “I found it on Ultra Sun at 24 total between the two games, full odds for Ultra Sun and in so few encounters???”

Today, I caught my second badge quest member. With 413 total REs attempted for Espurr and 415 SRs for Squirtle, Sentret’s the new member!

And since that and Honedge were two other possible members I would’ve taken, I phased but I’ll still happily face Grant with a Furret!

Next to it is the drawing of Sentret sparkling I’d show the Squirtle tallies but I couldnmt get a good picture that also focused on the 2DS screen. But honestly, there’s nothing new to it. The 3DS showing shiny Sentret aka Marion traded over to the Shiny Badge Quest file, with the French “Prends bien soin de Marion!”

…And also USUM SOS. The Elgyem line are my fav Gen V guys, and a SOS hunt was on the bingo sheet and guess what I got! Way earlier today, like close to midnight

There’s notes about how many power points Elgyem at certain levels would have because I can’t use the Leppa Berry trick so I count them down. I tried to find a Harvest Phantump and got annoyed. There are 110 encounters in total but admittingly, I might have miscounted? Only by one but regardless that’s close. There is a small drawing of an Elgyem near the top. Also the book is different because I have SOS tally encounters from Pokemon Sun in here. It felt right

I’ve been dealing with my Pokedex in Ultra Sun, and while levelling some Pokemon (since I also want to shiny hunt on this), I found an Inkay and did SOS shiny hunting on a whim.

And it paid off after 45 encounters! Of course I had to evolve Inkay to our friend, Malamar!

Managed to defeat Viola (or Violette as she is called in French) and for my second badge quest member, I’m dual hunting but in… an interesting way.

I’m going for either Squirtle from soft resets or a shiny Espurr (but any Route 6 mon will do). Whatever shines first will be my next member

Me when I don’t consistently soft reset for seven months, and then suddenly remember I gotta lock in and get more soft resets in and?? Damn that’s less than my Poipole in Ultra Sun!

How wonderful though - the badge quest can move forward!

A full-body reference of my OC, Ridley. He's related to me and my friend Winter's OC world. The lizard parts of him are based off of a lizard called a green striped tree dragon. He's a fairly bulky looking guy with black hair that's kind of messy and tied back. He has sunglasses on but underneath he has orange eyes. His outfits consists of a black t-shirt with a pattern that resembles teeth, and a purple jacket over it that's unzipped. He black jeans are ripped around the knees, and he has knee-length greenish gray boots. He's also wearing finger-less gloves. In this reference, he's looking to the side and grinning. There are scales on his face and his neck as well. He's also wearing a necklace with an infinity symbol.

#mwmegamix Loser's Round 2 had started and the last match of the left side of the bracket ended today. I remembered I wanted to post this doodle sheet of Bad Girlz and MAD/EON I did before their match started.

Enjoyable match for me since they're both mains, but still sad one had to 1-2...

I even drew my own take on MAD/EON as one fo the same gummy speaker creatures that MONSTERMAU5 are (he's a hedgehog because I can't stop thinking about how the main writer for him says that he acts like Shadow the Hedgehog)

My OC Chance, a guy whose got hair that appears segmented, a pair of headphones and a visor, posing and smiling towards the camera with one hand that would be on his side if I actually drew it, but his right arm is positioned that way, and his left arm is relaxed to his side. This is what I call the "Jerma pose", similar to that meme that goes "Sparkle on! It's Wednesday!" He's wearing a different outfit than how I usually draw him, wearing a short-sleeved suit like jacket, a waist coat, a dress shirt and a short tie.

You know - among the things that I've gotta do more of, a more proper ref for my Pokesona I conceptualized as a Jirachi and Emolga fusion is one of them. I really like what I did with this and want to make a more finished version - especially for underneath the cape.

Seeing people make shiny bingos made me want to see how I felt about making one for this year as well as how much I complete it. It's basically a bunch I already had my eye on, but also a Year of the Snake themed one (3-seg Dudunsparce)

5 years of progress, QRP with yours!

2019 - 2024

2019 was a tough year for me, yet I was still able to make what I think is my best piece of 2019 - which makes it good to compare to what I consider my best 2024 piece. Coincidentally - both are based off music!
An art piece based off of the music video for drop pop candy - but specifically the REOL version where the singer has short blue hair rather than the most commonly known once based off of Luka. An art piece based off of the mashup track by Mayo called THE KING AND SHIA.
