New York’s housing crisis demands action. Co-ops like Penn South keep families stable, but rising costs threaten their future. We must renew and strengthen J-51 through 2035 so co-ops can stay affordable and go green — without pushing residents out.

No one wants those old, gross, outdoor dining sheds back! We want vibrant streetscapes that are clean & clear. But the city has nearly killed outdoor dining. That’s why I support @cmrestler.bsky.social’s bill, which like mine, will save outdoor dining & allow it all year in a responsible way
