I’ve seen a lot of people complain about difficulty reading this but I think it screams “I don’t know shit about Utah but they won’t let me out of this high school art room until I draw something” pretty clearly.

I got to play this and it fucking rules. The ambiance, the music, the ingots that may be shat (I shat none sadly) and the dread are all so potent. Loved the gameplay and weight it carried. Can’t wait for full release. This could be the present for today Dale Cooper was talking about.

I feel like this is a big thing for a lot of millennials; especially those with traumas or neurodivergence that struggle hard with people pleasing, confidence, or purpose. You know who you are,they don’t. Never bend to appease, be authentically you and find the people you please exactly as you are.
Lesson from last night: avoid conventional wisdom. Mamdani could have been like, "I'm just a rookie assemblyman. Should wait my turn, check in with Schumer and Jeffries to see when it's okay for me to move up." He had a better thought: "Fuck those guys."

Finished up Dragon Quest 7 just in time to still play 1&2’s remake on release day 🙌 7 was really cute (and occasionally heartbreaking) that was great despite overstaying its welcome and not respecting people’s time occasionally with lot of “run back and forth for 30 minutes”. Still a masterpiece.

Been one of those crummy weeks where plans don’t work out, depression is going off, and the littles don’t let rest or sleep happen. Maybe some real tasty tea from @white2tea.bsky.social and The Hobbit with the kids will help turn it around.There’s less fall movies for kids than you’d expect or hope

My 5mo hasn’t figured out sleep yet, but she’s very good at barrel rolling onto her belly and throwing up regardless of how long ago she ate.

Got to go disc golfing yesterday, go some new shoes in today that came with keychain. Had a dental procedure today. Pretty stoked even if dental work means cool drugs without the ability to have wine and cheese. Kids book club was fun and my son’s bday party is tomorrow. Good busy weeks are nice.
