1) Is your muffin buttered?
2) Would you like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?
Oh, also, I am absolutely the kind of garbage person who pronounces it "Chase Lounge"

Matt Ruff's BAD MONKEYS. The battle of Good vs. Evil. Or is it? Yes, it is. OR IS IT??? I like Matt Ruff and I tore through this in two days, a brisk and entertaining tale of morality and how we perceive it with sci-fi elements and a crafty narrator

Carl Hiaasen's BAD MONKEY. Pretty good Florida comedic crime novel featuring wacky violent hijinks. Basis of a pretty good Vince Vaughn tv show. If you've read Elmore Leonard, you've read this but better. If you've read Tim Dorsey or Dave Barry, you've read this but worse.

Imagine having this fucking guy as your upstairs neighbor, you'd never stop banging on the ceiling with your broom handle. "Can you not pull this shit for ONE DAMN NIGHT, some of us have to work in the morning!"

Carl Hiaasen's BAD MONKEY and Matt Ruff's BAD MONKEYS. What can I say, they were both on my Libby app's "Future Reads" list and they were both available now and I thought it would be funny to check both out at the same time. I've enjoyed both authors before, so... ha ha I am funny

Pierce Brown's RED RISING. Fun and compelling book 1 of an ambitious sci-fi epic, action-packed and heavy with social commentary that mostly worked but at times gave me unsubstantiated vibes that I may be disappointed if I looked up, say, the author's political views or controversies
