Working on self compassion these days and this is great advice. We, all too often, are so unkind to ourselves. Unnecessarily so. There's a whole world out there ready to be mean, don't do it to yourself too.

Amazing! Where are you getting your voice actors from? Or just using friends? I am fortunate to know some very talented people that help me with my series. It's too much fun on editing and recording days

If I didn't constantly have to refill my coffee and drink it while pondering plot points I'm not sure I'd identify as a writer. It's a mandatory part of the uniform, isn't it?

I've got 3 major rewrites staring me down. Each at different stages of development and I'm trying to figure out my own process.

Curious, what is your process for rewrites? Notes? Back to the cards? Re-outline? Or do you just attack the script again from notes you received?

Characters. Do they have depth? Do they make fun/interesting choices? Do I like them?

If I don't like the characters, I just won't watch.
