@pjminterconnection.bsky.social stakeholders just rejected PJM's proposed reserve margin for 2027/28. I think that's the first time that's ever happened.
PJM keeps raising their reserve target because of extreme winter weather, and seems like people are skeptical that's worth the bill.

From today's NYT: "The F.C.C.’s chairman, Brendan Carr, had requested a transcript of the interview after a news distortion complaint was lodged with that agency..."

@pjminterconnection.bsky.social has about 30GW of import capacity, but the only imports in the last auction were 1.2GW under legacy contracts from 2016 or earlier. PJM's import rules seem to create barriers to reliability.
