This is a good thing, for me at least. I know modern ttrpg design trends tend to emphasize less and less prep and bookkeeping - probably for the better - but this is the edition I grew up on, I like this level of crunch

The art and the theme drew me to the game a lot but yeah, it seems like a nightmare to run. Mystery is already a tricky genre as is without having to frantically leaf through the book to find shit

I think they're working on re-editing it? I'm curious how that turns out but like. We'll see.
