UK Labour Member. We won. Now let’s deliver. But taking money off vulnerable people is not the answer to the country’s problems. So let’s not do that 🫡

Staggering - the effort and resource *still* being invested in keeping the Brexit shitshow on the road.
No one’s held to account.
No one’s fallen on their sword.
No one’s got the guts to really speak out.
So, on we go, protecting this huge and ruinous lie, because telling the truth is too difficult.

If the Court hands Trump this power, watchdogs meant to defend workers, consumers, elections, and civil service neutrality become tools to punish enemies and shield allies. It’s a blueprint for authoritarian governance and the Supreme Court is signaling it might let him have it.

If this 'winning' doesn't stop soon the US will either go bankrupt, into a depression, or both.
U.S. layoffs set to surpass the Great Recession levels, on track to be worst since Great Depression. Spectre of economic collapse looming. Food lines growing longer across every region. Millions unable to afford basic medication or housing. Next year promises to be worse.

Corruption threatens our national security, undermines legitimate business and steals money from working people’s pockets.

By deploying specialist law enforcement capabilities, we will disrupt the serious organised criminals, terrorists and kleptocrats.

It is now 23 days since the last small boat successfully cross the English Channel.

In the last 4 weeks there have only been 3 boats and 217 people.

This the longest period without any boats since the 8th Jan 2024.

The 28-day average is now by far the lowest seen at this time of year.

Today Labour have launched a skills programme that, among other things, aims for 50k additional young people on apprenticeships over the next few years.

This alone could see youth unemployment drop 5%, never mind the rest of the plans!

Here the PM tells us more, as he meets young people.

Awesome!

It wasn't JUST us, pushing Britain off the cliff that hurt it, it was how bad Britain turned out to be at not-falling.

Delusional fools.
🧐 NBER study may have overestimated Brexit hit, apparently, because "a good deal of this effect will have been due not so much to Brexit as such, but the long period of uncertainty after the vote". 🤣

But that uncertainty was a predictable product of Brexit. Why should it be discounted? ~AA

Sorry, but why is James O'Brien having an hour on who the next Labour leader should be?

There isn't a vacancy. SKS is doing a great job.

Just turned the radio back on after a work meeting and was thoroughly confused.

We have already published this collage image which is a partial excerpt of the roll - it shows 9 Patels and 8 Smiths but the full roll we have acquired a copy of shows 13 and 12. This claim was also made by more than one pupil.

On a purely factual point, Trevor Phillips’s column in the Times misrepresents our reporting in casting doubts on claims that there were more boys called Patel than Smith at Dulwich in 1980 (we did not report 1976 as the year it occurred). 1980 roll shows 13 Patels and 12 Smiths.
