Riddle me this- why do people consider weighted vests a good idea for fitness when healthcare industry urges ppl to lose weight to take the burden off their joints and organs? I understand weightlifting for muscle toning, but weighted vests don't make sense to me.

Some laughs-last pm we went out for dinner. It was celebration,so we ordered dessert,which our server forgot to bring. I asked for check& to cancel dessert bec we'd finished our coffee.He apologized profusely, asked to give it to go,on the house. We accepted. Got home &this was our mousse cake...

No- it was sold before we could make offer. We bought a small (1300squft) house on 2.7 acres, exactly where we wanted to be in East Sooke. It has greenhouse and garden and is absolutely lovely but small. We hope to add garage and bedroom suite eventually.

Just to change the grim subjects for a minute- tonight I made what I call stovetop eggplant lasagna. Stir fry veggies, mix in pasta and tom sauce. Add ricotta on top and cheese over that. Cover until the cheese melts. Dang it was good!

Hahah- well he picked me and I am not blonde. Also, I chose Tate myself. He just agreed to it. He is rescue and was such an adorb puppy.

No, he is our other dog. Dad's boy. I love him but can't walk him myself bec he is leash reactive and too strong for me. So we have his and her dogs
