Most of us share something of our data - usually just in the paper itself, the supplementary materials or on osf.io. Relatively few upload their data to subject-specific repositories (none, in fact!)

What do we measure from the EMG, and how good at it are we? Not surprisingly, everyone measures MEP amplitudes, but a few other features are measured regularly.

Most do surface EMG with sticky bipolar electrodes, a few use high-density arrays and one uses in-dwelling electrodes. We use a wide range of hardware, with the most-common being CED systems.

The respondents basically do everything possible, using TMS hardware from five different manufacturers and controlling their experiments with four main software tools. They combine TMS with a very wide range of other methods.

We got a good range of responses, from one undergraduate student up to six full professors. About a quarter are post-docs and a quarter assistant professors.
Two thirds of respondents are UK-based, the remainder in Europe, North America or Asia.
