Today I learned that NASA has a collection of free ebooks that can be downloaded as pdfs or ebub format.

The science books even include a children’s section with fun activites and coloring books!

Lessons in Magic and Disaster by @charliejane.bsky.social is gloriously, unapologetically queer and focuses on forming connections and trying to do the best you can for the ones you love, plus a magic system that seems to run on vibes. This book was messy in the best way.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
