This is actually a relevant factor here: it's been pretty clear SOUTHCOM, whose commander resigned, has been pushing back, at least somewhat. They're putting it under the operational command of SOCOM specifically because that's the most already rotten place you'll find people happy to do crimes.
Why do you need Seal Team 6 to blow up a fucking boat?
This would be an unambiguous war crime even in a proper war against a real enemy’s navy.

Admiral Holsey announced his retirement at the same time we found out there were two survivors in another strike. I've always suspected there may have been an order to eliminate them and Holsey wasn't going to have any part of it.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

There are two outstanding restaurants we frequent on a regular basis. One is owned by a Peruvian family. They are some of the best people we know. The other is owned by a Colombian man who not only runs the restaurant, but also works full time as an RN.

Give me them over people like Miller any day.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

I thought Fanni Willis was doing a poor job handling the Georgia cases before Trump was ever indicted there, or the allegations against her emerged.

I also believed it should have been a federal case from the start, but Milquetoast Merrick blew that one, too.

I wonder how business owners in places like Estes Park and Grand Lake feel about this.

I'll bet a chunk of money this is circular reporting:

1. Blaze writes story
2. Gabbard: "OMG! Draft a memo!"
3. The Blaze: "OMG! It's confirmed"
This should be a major scandal. The Blaze falsely reported that a former U.S. Capitol Police officer was the Jan. 6th pipe bomber. But it wasn’t just another miss by conservative media promoting conspiracies.

Someone in US intel - at ODNI - was promoting it:

So Trump calls for six serving members of Congress to be hung. The Sec Def calls for a serving Senator to be recalled to active duty to be Courtmartialed. All for saying military personnel can refuse ILLEGAL ORDERS. Absurd. Separation of powers. Statement inherent in the UCMJ.

This right here. Watching people I thought were reasonably intelligent sharing videos of a giraffe "rescuing" a tiger cub was the end for me.
I've deleted most of my FB info, just kept my account alive to use site for work. So depressing watching people I friended, for whatever reason over the years, share idiotic AI slop. A big neon sign screaming "DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS PERSON."
