If I ever got a guaranteed payday like these guys got, I would start quiet quitting the next day. I know none of them are built like that, but there’s no way I’d keep up the grind at that point.

lol my argumentative writing professor was AGHAST when we told her the campus library was closed Homecoming weekend. (Meaning we couldn’t last minute get materials for whatever paper we had due the following Monday).

Extremely anecdotally, the one time Urban Meyer jogged right past me on campus, I nodded and said “hey coach,” and he acted like he didn’t see me. Which, fair enough.

Word at the time was he was going to take Florida, then thought better of Gainesville when “be anonymous in LA” became an option.

Ours did too. They changed it right around my freshman year. My understanding is that elementary school kids waiting for the bus in the dark had proven to be unacceptably unsafe.
