Here's a snippet from a Biden press release in May 2024. This isn't bad faith, it's fair to ask ourselves why Democratic messaging didn't resonate and it's plausible that "Latinx" and similar sorts of language-focused things are at best distracting and at worst patronizing to all kinds of voters

I think it's a little naive to think that people will not associate "Latinx" and similar efforts with Democrats when they (and only they) have used that language, even if not in campaign materials. Here's a Biden WH release on education programs from May 2024:
