This years book tree is up! Admiring it now before the cats knock it over. Challenged myself to make it from books I read because of OFMD but that were not about pirates. Was easier than I thought 😁 ( the books are listed in the alt text if anyone is interested)

Needed milk. Ended up serotonin shopping. This included accidentally buying the most expensive bunch of flowers Tesco had to offer. No I did not check the price 😬 but the colours made me think of the cute outfit stede wore when he was trying to refloat his boat and therefore gave me joy.

Its been two years since I painted this I think. It still makes me so happy that it turned out how I wanted. I consider myself to have zero artistic talent so the fact its recognisable is crazy to me. Make things! Make you happy.

Practice! Very wonky but I think I made it extra hard for myself by not bothering to draw guidelines. Silly. But I did stitches I haven't done before.

Cleaned the dust off today. We (my case and I) haven't been anywhere since Our con means death 2023. How do you transport a sword? It is very plastic...may wrap securely in bubble wrap? That could work. It will in no way fit the case so will be sticking out a bag.

Hair and makeup test for cosplay purposes. Hard to get my feelers in shot. Wigs are itchy. Also if anyone has any tips about smooshing waist length hair into wig caps without too much bulk I would be most grateful!
