The short version would be single payer healthcare would fix this but absent that they should at least be required to have an up to date provider directory. It's open enrollment right now and I feel for anyone blindly accepting their doctors take their chosen plan in my neck of the woods. 💀🤷♂️

Thanks! I'm doing my best to see it as more time to prepare but in my head drafting a message to my congress people about this experience with an ACA plan that at least in a rural setting is not just ideal. I've been fortunate my regular doctor takes it and I haven't needed specialists until now.
