Stormkin Traits Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2. Any mental score of your choice is also increased by 2. Lost and Wandering (Cultural Trait): You gain a d4 bonus to Survival and Nature checks (this bonus increases passive checks by +2). This trait can be swapped out with the cultural trait of another species. Variable Trait (Species Trait) Choose one of the following, your spellcasting ability is the mental score you increased in the above trait: Lightning Storm: You know the Shocking Grasp cantrip and are resistant to lightning damage. Snow Storm: You know the Ray of Frost cantrip and are resistant to cold damage. Size: You are Medium. Stormkin Lore Cultural Quirks: Stormkin are created randomly during storms. Usually, they are adopted into other cultures. However, it is not uncommon for them to be raised by the forces of nature. They can live with wolves, seek wisdom from the winds, and find companionship with trees. Biology: Stormkin have humanoid bodies made of a glass-like material, with storms trapped inside. Their blood is gaseous. When a stormkin dies, their bodies shatter and the trapped storms reunite with the skies to be reincarnated again. Misconceptions: Because stormkin can reincarnate, there's rumors that they can remember past lives. This is untrue. All memories are scattered amongst the clouds upon death. Creation Myth: Drokaro and Nade made the world using giant, sentient storms. However, when the world was made, the storms weren't satisfied. They wanted to keep creating. As noble as their creativity was, they were on the verge of destroying the world. Nade and Drokaro captured the storms and trapped them into statues. The stormkin were told to live among the people and to explore their creativity in a nondestructive way.

Foxfolk Lore Cultural quirks: Rather than saying Da, De, and Do, foxfolk that grew up around other foxfolk say Za, Ze, and Zo. For example, instead of saying “deru” (Hukra’s currency), they say “zeru.” Biology: Foxfolk tend to look like anthropomorphic foxes. However, they can breed with humans and can take on human traits. The most common half-human foxfolk appearances are humans with fox ears, fox eyes and a tail. Misconceptions: There is a common myth about foxfolk that they have no males. The truth is that males tend to be very androgynous. Creation Myth: One night, a fox was hunting what it thought was an otter. It turned out to be the animal god Nade. When the fox attacked, Nade gave the fox the ability to speak. The fox apologized profusely for attacking him and begged for forgiveness, pledging his loyalty and the loyalty of his entire clan. Nade didn't really care about the attack, but appreciated the gesture. He instead asked for stories about what it was like being a fox. The fox regaled Nade with many stories until the morning came. As a thank you, Nade blessed the rest of the fox’s clan with the ability to speak and as well granting them all humanoid bodies. When Nade showed off his new creation to his sister, Drokaro, she gave the foxfolk the gift of fire.

A description of Foxfire if you're curious
Foxfire Level: Catrip Casting time: 1 action Duration: either instantaneous or 1 minute (concentration) Target: A creature or target within range Components: somatic Effects: Choose one Make a melee or ranged spell attack at a target within range ( melee 5ft, ranged 30 ft). The target takes 1d6 fire damage on a hit and ignites any flammable objects that aren't being held. You summon a small flame to your hand that lasts for the duration. It spreads bright light in a 5-foot radius, and dim light for an additional 5 feet. You can carry the flame in your hand, or you can use a bonus action to move the flame up to 30 feet of you, where it levitates in place for the duration or until you either move it again or use another bonus action to summon it to your hand. If you are ever more than 30 feet from the flame, the spell’s effects end. At higher levels: The fire damage increases by 1d6 at 5th (2d6), 11th (3d6) and 17th (4d6) level.

"I was five years old when I first saw him. I called him Mr. Skelequin. I was scared at first, but he soon became my friend. Mom said he would go away when I got older." Little girl is scared upon seeing a skeletal creature in the mirror. As the years go on, she grows to like him. She drinks tea with him and talks to him while she draws. He only ever seems to appear in reflections. "He never left. He's always there. Even in my most private moments. Some days I can handle it. Other days I can't. Last year, my nightmare went from bad to worse." Mr. Skelequin appears behind the girl in different points of her life: when she loses her first tooth as a little girl, when she's doing her make up as a teenager, and when she's just got out of the shower as an adult. On good days, she sings and washes dishes. On bad days, she cries under the covers. One day after work, someone follows her home. An attacker holds the woman to the bed, knife to her throat. He instructs her to undress, which she starts to do. In the reflection, Mr. Skelequin grabs the attacker's knife hand. The attacker appears to stab himself in the throat, spraying the woman in blood. Mr. Skelequin breathes on the mirror and starts to write in the fog. The woman is terrified upon what is written. It says "MINE"

I had an insane game just not. Got an Oran-Reif Ooze up to 74 power then targeted it with a Chandra's Ignition, dealing that much damage to each of my opponents. It was so much fun!
