Here's a note I sent to our members about what we did with their money, and why we expect the Onion to outgrow the Washington Post.

We keep doing weird, hard shit — taunting ICE, yelling at Congress for not taunting ICE, buying bad websites — when nobody else does.

Our members keep getting papers.

Saw Mary Pickford’s Pollyanna with a packed house in Chicago several years ago and the place was busting up with laughter

Wow, no kidding!! I had a bootleg from that tour that I pretty much memorized. Cherish those memories!

That’s got to be a treasured memory

1988 would have been Lovesexy, right? Wow. I wish I had seen him in the 80s! Didn’t manage it until 1992.

Did you see Kate doing Before the Dawn? Or earlier?

I feel like if there were such a thing as magic doors there would be a lot pointed at London 😅

I’d like to send one to the guy who recorded and shared it, if I knew where to send it 🤔🤔🤔

Thank you for the reply! Hope it goes great in any case

Not for the first time, Tim wished he had a magic door from Chicago to London. Will the event be live-streamed or YouTubed or some such thing?

And you don’t have to say A New Hope. The movie is called Star Wars. I don’t care what second and third thoughts GL had, the movie that made him who he is came out in 1977 and the title was, and therefore remains, Star Wars.

Had to lean against the wall for support on the way out of the theater in 1977 bc I was so overloaded

How has it been so far? I confess learning that each episode has lost 20% of its running time took the wind out of my sails a bit. I’m sure I’ll check it out at some point, but I’m curious to know what you think

Sincerely, though, very well played

Hahaha

As jams go it’s a little monotonous, but it’s striking to hear the POB LP peeking in. So if you decide to share it, I’d be interested in hearing it! I appreciated the extra definition you added to the rest of the recording
