Playing with technique I learnt from rapier. Off hand on the blade allows for some interesting flicking forward. It works well in sabre, though it also offers no threat with the point. This kind of variation is perfect for writing a sword fight.

Trying 4 the rectangle 2 hold letters together when the cut is made.
Know an efficient way to do this? Maybe a way to:
1. slice the letter so I can change the lower part to blue
2. Cut the red rectangle so it doesn't overlap the blue
