Amazon is a particularly notable offender here. When you make a purchase — they don't even email you a _list of the items you just ordered_. This, I believe, is because they're mad at leaking business intelligence to whichever “organize my inbox" companies people use. Tough deal, Amazon; suck it up.

Financial, medical, & insurance companies force a false choice between receiving stacks of paper statements (yuck) and paperlessly getting vapid emails which don't actually include the records which they're telling you now exist for you to manually sign in and download.

And I would definitely not attack Poland with a drone barrage just large enough to make it extremely clear that this was deliberate and intentional, causing damage & harm to civilians, but small enough not to practically inconvenience Polish military readiness in any way.

I'm not an experienced 4d-chess spymaster-dictator. But if I wanted to test NATO's resolve, I would not start with the state with massive ground forces and no chill which has just begging for an excuse to fuck me up for years.
