Book blogger at Bookchatter.net, reader, book reviewer, youth leader, writer, lover of pets. Tech nerd by day. Good trouble. I turn chaos into comedy.

NOT a fan of M-AGA. Just, no.

Pretty good at following back IF you actually post and have a profile.
Getting ready for the party. I bought a GIANT candy cane decoration to walk in with because my colleague hates tacky stuff. LOL. 😂

Getting into the spirit takes work.

I thought of that except this
place hasn’t been remodeled in 40 years. Fun fact, they shot the Maverick bar scene there. They don’t care about accessibility. It’s probably for when their patrons fall down drunk and need to buddy up.

I love old, dilapidated diners but please explain this to me.

Come on, friend, let’s take a pee break.

Hilarious that you responded with a meme I posted the other day. It’s a keeper.

This yearly party is a hoot because university VPs can be a little formal during the day. Not so, after a few drinks. Plus the food is usually amazing and it’s at this fab mid-century modern property.

Fun fact. One of my colleagues is hosting his annual Christmas party tonight. All the Higher Ups will be there, plus myself. The “ridiculous situation” person was not invited.

Tell me why everyone’s worried. I mean, drinks, a fire pit, casual vibe. Captive audience?

Go ahead, give me the mic. 😈

A lot happened to me as a kid but not this.

For example, during the Olympics I did a backflip and broke my foot ON the TV.

Discuss. Was your childhood lit? 😂

I just finished the best damn read. Which means that I’m going through review copies and my library holds to see what’s next.

I love it when a book leaves you kind of wrecked. This one’s going to stay with me.

Hitting it. Finally.
My lunchtime choice. 🚶🏻‍♀️
70°. Perfect.

Yep. You can’t get rid of me. I’m stubborn that way.

Morning! ☀️

It was hilarious!! All my colleagues were telling me to file a claim. Nope. My own stupidity. But three weeks later, doc said it was broken.

BUT, my light is still disabled and my eyes are glad. 😌

Heyyyy. Good morning. Feeling sassy.

I’m repping the university today so I will try to behave.
😈

Almost Friday. We can do it.

Why do you have to get all personal, Spotify?

My review of FRIENDS AND LIARS is on Book Chatter today.

A fun whodunnit. Not usually my thing but it was enjoyable. Blew through it. #BookSky

Other side of pillow. I die.
December 3, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Morning. Meeting day. Yep, another one of those meetings. I thought after the last one we were done playing!

I walk into my space and see this. Yes, my fellow colleagues know me so well.
Giving me pillows to throw?? LOL. 😂

Say it isn’t so.
December 3, 2025 at 1:40 PM
Hmmm. Which one of these characters could be me? 😂
December 3, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Thanks, Ray. Let’s all be clear.

Good morning. I’m on campus today. Let’s see what the day holds.

First face, “Try me” ☠️
Second: Team Player 😝

I can pull either out on cue. I’m adaptable that way.

If this doesn’t sum up the year, I don’t know what does.

The wind came out of nowhere. I tried.
