Can I get mine without the pickles though?
first time I've been sad bsky doesn't have an algorithm because how did it take a month for this to show up on my timeline

Rudolph gets all the love, so let’s talk about the names of Santa’s other reindeer.

dasher | noun | one that dashes
dancer | noun | one that dances
prancer | noun | one that walks or moves in a spirited manner

Ok, those three are easy to understand.

New — I wrote about the myriad ways journalism’s moral rot manifests, and how our crumbling institutions have created the conditions for it to fester:
Moral rot in elite journalism is killing the whole field
The Nuzzi/RFK Jr. mess and the revelation of Esptein's journo pals lay bare a profound moral absence at the heart of our free press.

Turns out this was all much ado about nothing and Google isn’t using your Gmail to train AI and if wanna turn all that stuff back on you can get your spam filters back
Looks like the article has been updated to suggest maybe they misread the policy.

I see people complaining that this also disabled their spam filters, though I still see new messages showing up in spam so it's still working fine for me after disabling things.

Are there any freelance stunt people who can teach private lessons to an 11 year old on how to fall without fracturing their wrist? If not, this should be a thing.

PSA for those who wear wedding bands and insure them: it is probably time to get those reappraised and increase the value of your insurance rider. I took mine in to get resized, and the cost of resizing has more than doubled since 2021 to nearly 10% of the original cost of the ring.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

A shame. I was going to get my daughters a subscription when they were old enough but no need to give @teenvogue.com my money now.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Derpy wasn’t done in time for 8yo to wear to school but is ready for tonight. Eyes were a late alternate plan due to Michaels having no yellow felt. Appliqué and fabric marker turned out to be a great (but slow) way to do the stripes.
