My team has been using github copilot in our code reviews and it’s… okay at catching typos and syntax errors I guess? Sigh.

But of course this isn’t one of the AI tools our employer actually pays for, i think we’re using my manager’s personal paid account. It’s all ridiculous.

I was mostly just annoyed that I couldn’t access the data.

But that was with one of the little ePatch monitors, the ones with all the dangling wires are more of a nuisance.

Yeah, my mental health is Not Good, but neither is reality, so... 🤷‍♂️

It doesn’t really seem like a problem my psychiatrist should be expected to solve. We just added Wellbutrin back to my med regimen earlier this week, though, so I guess we’ll see how that goes.

It’s a little better if you use the app—there are usually some buy-one-get-one-for-$1 deals—but yeah it’s gotten pretty expensive if you aren’t actively looking for the bargains.

No one even looks at the gender marker!

Mine was wrong on my drivers license for 10 years and I think maybe one person said something?

I’ve been seeing psychiatrists at a teaching hospital’s outpatient clinic for maybe 6 years now (with a different doctor each year).

They’ve been pretty decent about dose increases (though concerned about my heart rate and BP) and about trying vyvanse.

When I first read the BPD diagnostic criteria I felt such relief. That I wasn’t the only one, that it’s treatable instead of just who I am as a person.

I don’t think it still applies 15+ years later, but it was a diagnosis that made me feel understood at a time when I was really struggling.

I think also that it can be a useful diagnosis when it resonates with people’s self-image.

It took some therapy for me to realize “oh, I guess that’s legitimately traumatic” instead of “I deserved that because I’m a bad person“

I wouldn’t have *believed* a cPTSD diagnosis.

And the “use before” date on the pharmacy’s label might not match the manufacturer’s expiration date either 🫠

Basically, if your vyvanse was manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals you should probably ask your pharmacy if your pills came from an affected batch.

Note: I AM NOT ANY KIND OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.

I’m just a person with a lot of meds, some of which the pharmacy gives me in the big manufacturer’s bottle and some of which I get in the smaller bottles with just the pharmacy’s label.

The lot # and expiration date are on the big bottle that the manufacturer sends to the pharmacy; if your pharmacy gives you a smaller quantity of pills instead of the sealed original bottle, your label probably does not include the lot # or original expiration date.

And gold leaf takes more skill and work to apply, so that’s another point in favor of spray paint.

How often have I been bothered by this in the last two weeks?

FIRST OF ALL, I have no idea how observant other people might be.

And my speed varies depending on my level of enthusiasm and confidence, so “usual” is hard to define

But if I’m feeling hopeless and depressed, that despair will make me overestimate how bad I’ve been feeling.

I need to identify my typical responses so i can accurately choose a score that indicates if I’m feeling better or worse than normal.

I kinda enjoy going in person, too—the volunteers at my polling place are always so upbeat.

You normally have to run a marathon or something if you want strangers to greet you that enthusiastically!

Dropping off my mail-in ballot on the way to work, as is my usual tradition (because I never remember to mail it early enough)

If you have any specific tests in mind, you may be able to request them yourself from a lab like SonoraQuest

It isn’t covered by insurance that way, but I did seriously consider it last year when I was arguing with one of my providers about the implications of a test result.

Haven’t tried gargling it, but letting a sip of whiskey sit in my mouth for a while can help clear up my sinuses.

So potentially useful for the post-nasal drip kind of sore throat.

When my old team was trying to turn down some types of request, we usually got overruled if ppl escalated.

It drove me up the wall. We wound up still providing the service we’d tried to get rid of (12 years and it’s still going, lol) but only after losing tons of of goodwill from the initial nos
