Saw this ten years ago when I left teaching so I’m sad to hear it’s got worse. I refused to shift the curriculum down, sent them to remedial help, failed more people and refused demands from students for higher grades bc “reasons”
I was not popular.
I’m wondering if pastoral care has also shot up?
