-not all jews support israel
-criticizing israel is not the same as being antisemitic
-being pro-palestine does not equal being pro-hamas
-arresting someone for being pro-palestine is a violation of the first amendment
-violating someone’s first amendment rights is bad

But for the Israeli government, the sanctity of the memory of the six million dead is a price to be paid for more support for hardline anti-Palestinian policies.
🚨1 \ Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar instructed the Foreign Ministry three weeks ago to open quiet talks with the far-right parties in France, Spain and Sweden that have until now been officialy boycotted by the Israeli government, three Foreign Ministry officials told me

I think this literally violates the equal protection clause so hard that it should smash on the ground into smithereens. What could more violate the equal protection clause than a law that forbids examination of one group but not another?

You pay far more cost in America for being public about being targeted by a raging misogynist than admitting that you are one.
The new general counsel for OPM—the office issuing all those deranged memos—is Andrew Kloster, a self-described “raging misogynist” with a public history of racist comments and a temporary restraining order for domestic violence who most recently worked for Matt Gaetz.

The problem with this article is that the media hasn't been very empathetic here. This isn't a case of "white man kills family" and the photo is him jet skiing. The media has actually been trying pretty hard to shame everyone who is being empathetic to him.
The empathy is coming from social media.

it’s about to get very, very hard to be transgender in the united states. likely harder than it’s been in american history. do not let them scare you into backing down. do not give into transphobes framing. stand up to them however you can. it shouldn’t be this way but we have to fight
