Another writer. Unsociable and taciturn.
They don't have to be tabloid-level (a la, Headless Body in Topless Bar), but neither do they have to be weak with bland, namby and gutless words. You're supposed to be writers ffs. Dissatisfaction is for yelp reviews.

*But does it push us apart? Or pull us apart? I think we could use Marshall McCluhan who would probably not be surprised that the president of instinct has risen to the top. The Gatsby party, WH ballroom, etc., are sickening sights. But they are perfect for the medium in which he lives.

At least 2 lies, possibly 3, in that sentence and an unspoken 4th. Real issue is the Hatch Act has to be enforced by the people breaking the very same law. Congress makes the laws and sets punishments, but cannot enforce them.

And with the self-described "oversexualized" Adams losing to Mamdami, Cuomo, and nearly everyone else in the race, I just can't imagine any of the others getting so worked up about a whiff of gossip. Trump's m.o. is to personalize everything, exactly the opposite of what's called for in a leader.

Biden, in his farewell address 9 months ago, announced a cease fire deal which looks suspiciously like the one Trump just took credit for. Biden commended Trump for 'getting it over the finish line,' as did Kamala. They are the opposite of the Trump effect.

The novel, by Doctorow, was published in 1975, about the years between 1902 and the start of WWI. 125 years later, we're still dealing with the same shit in orange skin.
