Ramen is definitely a soup. As is Pho. It’s a noodle soup. The primary ingredient is the broth which takes focus (which I spend literal days making) and the noodles are secondary

From what I know of the situation, I agree protecting your peace is the best option here. Maybe someday you can co-exist in the same space on neutral grounds, but just keep on being the better you you have been. I've endured "hoping for an apology that will never come" and it's just crazy making.

It's really hard to grapple with the idea of someone only knowing the shitty version of you for all time and while they don't owe you an audience it still sucks when you've actually done the work to be better and have become better, even if the result is still no contact. Anyway, I get it.
