My favorite thing about going back to EVE Online is that everyone knows the game is about stealing and killing other players, so you don't get posts like this like you do in Sea of Thieves, etc where people act as if you're a bad person for doing PvP in PvPvE games lol

I know it's bad that so much of the Internet is hosted on basically one of three or four cloud services and I hate that.
But am I imagining it or do I sense the vibe that people are treating cloud computing is the same sort of harmful/scam/immoral tech similar to Bitcoin/nfts/AI?

Can I please get a version of the pf2e subreddit without a literally daily post about how vancian casting, spell slots, or having any sort of daily limited ability is ruining the game or whatever.
I'm seriously so tired of it, it's one of my favorite things in the game I love spell slots!!!

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

My hot take of the day is that saying "Maybe you should play a different game" isn't gate keeping, sometimes people are going into a game wanting it to be something that it isn't. If a game isn't for you, that's ok, and doesn't make it a problem with the game.
